It always makes me sad when a girl identifies herself with a number and refuses to go up a size because of a poor fit.
*Big Secret: My closet is full of sizes 2-10. What does that say? Different designers, different specs, different FIT MODELS!!
The truth is the fit model, a sample size (4-6) model is on hand in every designers showroom while putting finishing touches on each and every silhouette. Her sole purpose is to wear an unapproved sample while the designers and tech team adjust the waistline, the shoulder straps, and the bust line etc. God help us busty (34D) gals if she is flat, plan to size on up.
Don’t feel discouraged, just ask for 2 sizes to try on so you can compare. I never head into the fitting room with less than 2 for every style I am trying on.
She may have a long torso, she may have a short torso, she have may broad shoulders, she may have narrow shoulders, she may have a butt (not likely, lets face it) but the truth is, you cannot make it about you. Dress for the best you and don’t worry about the number inside, nobody sees it anyways!!
