A simple girl's "beauty regimen"

Recently everyone wants to know what I am doing for my beauty regimen and of course everything has a story..

Biotin Vitamins:



I don't know how I survived without you!



I used to SPLURGE on Phytophenare, a vitamin for hair, nails and skin that I was completely sold on because of 2 words Jennifer Aniston. My hair dresser shared that she was a phyto fanatic so I had to give it a whirl. After seeing almost immediate results I was addicted! Upon running out of my 5^th bottle and going to my salon to restock only to discover they were sold out, my strict regimen ended… Fast forward 4 months and a friend (who worked at a health food store and is now my personal vitamin dictionary) told me about Biotin. I argued that there was no way Biotin was better than Phytophenare. She challenged me to try….1 week later and I was the one left looking like a fool with LONG locks and AMAZING nails! I <3 Biotin 4 Life. (so does my hair dresser who now sees me every 4 weeks MAX for my root touch up)… be careful what you wish for!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G I became besties with the Queen of Cosmetics. During our first lunch date she kindly reached across the table, pulled my skin and declared that I needed help and FAST. She could not believe I did not wear moisturizer. I supported my case with the following:

1. They made me break out.

2. They look like cake.

3. They make my pores feel like they are suffocating.

She said I was not going home without the best demanding I try. When we returned to the store and entered the sea of La Mer, Cle Du Peau, and Chanel, I was stunned when she walked me over to Khiel's. There sat the more adorable “cosmetics lady” I had ever seen. She swore by her product and promised I would not return with pre-teen acne. Not only did my skin look better than ever the following morning but I received compliments for the ENTIRE DAY! I no longer see Khiel's as a product, it is my religion.

A lover of all things bronzer, I have tried them all.. Hoola, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Laura Mercier but stopped my search after discovering the beauty of Nars. Nars is the answer to any Bronzer Addict's wildest dreams. They have a shade for everyone and provide humor with their tongue and cheek names.

**Insider tip… I use Casino as my all over bronzer while I use Lovejoy to highlight my cheek bones!! Mixing shades creates a more natural look.

Chanel Blush



I never leave home without my Chanel__ blush! I have tried many, but nothing beats Chanel!

**Insider tip.. . I use the Rose Bronze because it blends easily with my bronzer addiction!



Make Up Forever Smoky Lash Mascara

If you are looking for chunky spider lashes, this is NOT for you.

A surprise gift from a client during my time at Tibi turned into a major love affair. Because it was not sold at Neimans, I never knew that this glorious product existed and now I will never forget. My lashes have never looked better/healthier.

This color is very fun to wear when in a sassy mood. For the girl who swore she would never wear lipstick, I just love wearing this color! Because I am a gloss girl, I never "just" wear the lipstick, I always put on my favorite LipSmackers flavor as the finishing touch.

Khiels Lip Balm

Hue # 30G is rouge with the perfect glossy touch. I love wearing this after a long day in the sun because it is such a great moisturizer for you lips!

Fingers- I love mixing Essie Starter Wife and Sheer Bliss for a classic manicure that goes with everything. I have never given into the color of the moment and I have never regretted it. It always boggles my mind that someone is willing to commit to a lime green or yellow because it is the trendy manicure. What about their clothes? There is no way that they can dress to support yellow nails for a week+. Classic it is and classic it will remain.

Toes- You will never see me wearing anything but Lincoln Park After Dark on my toes because it goes with everything and I will never let my pedi off set my shoes whether they are Charlotte Russe or Christian Louboutin. (unless I am beach vacation and match my classic nail color on my toes.)
