Clearance Rack: trash or treasure?

We all love to capitalize on a bargain, but there is a fine line between trash and treasure!!!

The truth behind the clearance rack is that every store/designer identifies their product within both a collection and season. Every season has a markdown date that is set before the merchandise is even in stores!! Depending on their calendar, this could mean anywhere between a 12-20 week markdown cycle.

What does this really mean? Whatever goods were not sold during the 12-20 weeks at full price will be marked down… and so the sale section is born.

Items can make it to the clearance rack because of a

tough waistline,

tough fit,

tough print,

tough details,

or just because... but let this remind you there is always diamond in the ruff worth searching for!!!

A classic find on a clearance rack is well worth the investment if it works for you!!

Don’t forget, a dollar spent on anything that does not flatter you and your body is throwing $$ away.

Insider Tip: Many stores have a “All sale merchandise is final sale” policy, so TAKE the time to try things on!!!!
